Thailand launches first AD sunset review on Vietnam’s painted galvanized steel

Thailand has launched the first anti-dumping (AD) sunset review.

Bangkok, March 24 2022 – According to an announcement from Thailand’s Department of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Commerce on March 22, 2022, Thailand has launched the first anti-dumping (AD) sunset review on painted hot-dip galvanized of cold-rolled steel and painted hot-dip plated or coated with aluminum-zinc alloys of cold-rolled steel imports from Vietnam.

A definitive final determination was made on March 24, 2017, and a 4.30%-60.26% AD duty was started to impose on subject products from March 25, valid for five years.

During the investigation period, the products involved in this case will be subject to AD duties of the same duty rate in the form of deposits, with validity not exceeding one year. The announcement came into force from the day after it was issued.
