Duplex Roll Rings

MCC International is a world leader in the casting and finish machining of high grade, centrifugally cast ferrous and non-ferrous products.

Their unique near-net shape centrifugal casting process enables them to cast and machine complex, irregular and concentric shapes in a wide range of diameters and weights. This process improves the physical properties of the roll ring, as casting is relatively free from defects. Due to the G force, all the impurities and gases are forced to the bore of the casting, which will be machined out at a later stage. This ensures a fine grain structure.

Additionally, MCC strictly produces duplex / bi-metallic roll rings. This combines the best properties of two (2) different materials, for High-Wear Resistant Shells with Tough Inner Cores. This improves both Wear and Breakage resistance, resulting in a more cost-effective, superior performance roll with very long campaign life.
